Aurora’s SDVoE based IPX series uses a 10Gbps network to transport 4K60 4:4:4 content across your network.  Competitors may claim high quality 4K60 4:4:4 video over a 1Gbps network, however a 1Gbps network simply cannot transport the content without a loss of quality. These type of 1G solutions utilize a very high 20:1 compression leading to inconsistent image quality, frame stuttering, and higher latencies of 30ms and more.

10G at 4K60 4:4:4 is a 1.3:1 lossless compression with a maximum latency of 0.1 milliseconds. When the bandwidth is 4K60 4:2:0 or below, SDVoE over 10G Ethernet has no compression and only 0.022 milliseconds of latency. Medical, broadcast, and high-quality usage will have issues with the 1G results which will be unpredictable when it occurs. Even HDR can be affected if the original content is altered.
